Weather Report

Don't forget your water bottles and sunscreen as you hit the lakes, rivers and creeks. The water's reflection seems to like to help the sun in its constant attempts to turn us all bright red and leave us sadly remembering the trip. Remember life jackets for the kids if you are fishing from a boat!

REPORT AS OF 5/13/13

Congratulations to the winner of our opening weekend fishing derby, Charles Ball, who won the grand prize of $150.00 for his catch of a 6.5 lb. brown using a silver and blue needlefish lure.

Charles also caught a 8 lb. 10 oz. brown during his visit, with assistance from Mitch Graff. This one was taken on a silver and black Rapala, and both fish were re-released into Upper Twin by Mr. Ball. (Very sweet!!)

Ken Dzambik from Pine Grove caught a 5 lb. 2 oz. rainbow on glitter powerbait, while Mike Bales landed a 4 lb. 1 oz. rainbow on peach powerbait.

Last weeks cooler and showery weather produced great fishing, with full stringers of 1.5 - 3 pounders coming in regularly.

DFG planted 1500 pounds on 5/6 and water temps are at 50 degrees.

Beautiful weather predicted for this week. Hope to see you here.
